A few things you might want
to know before you start.
The current version is built for Apple Silicon Macs running macOS Sonoma 14 or later. Intel Macs have not been verified for this release.
Vidownly accepts links from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, Reddit, Vimeo, and Twitch. Availability depends on each item’s access settings and on changes to the platform. Password-protected Vimeo videos are not supported.
For video, choose MP4 in best quality, 1080p, or 720p; for audio only, choose MP3 or M4A. The highest available quality depends on what the source video offers.
Yes. Turn on “Download a specific range” and enter a start and end time. It works for both video and audio downloads.
This site showcases the Mac app. The sample flow on this page doesn’t download any real files. To save videos, install Vidownly on your Mac. Only save content you have the right or permission to download.
